it's been long. sometimes it's too long, and then you slowly forget. you forget pain and grow cold. you dont feel like remembering at all. afterwards you become numb; then you realise it's becoming harder and harder to cry.

you sure you want me back? i cant take anymore failures in life. being a friend can make me go crazy sometimes. so if you're willing to drop me broken and shattered again, i dont know what to do.

a signboard was up;
it said "hey, kiss and tell".
donned in makeup and lipstick
in her shortest skirt and flimsy top
sat a girl with the sweetest smile
a boy saved her that day,
he said, "hey girl, life isn't that way."
she didn't understand so he held her hand
he showed her the closest path to perfect
then the thirteenth hour struck and he was gone
he had dropped her broken and shattered,
just like she was before.
but she lived through the tale
to tell a story about a girl who kissed and told
about a boy who had a smile to die for.
