a cold rainy morning
it was raining. then it started pouring. now it's raining again. couldnt get to sleep because of the humid atmosphere, bah. at times like these, you just picture yourself sitting in the kitchen at home with a cup of coffee and newspaper at hand. perhaps at the cafe waiting for something (to happen; or perhaps someone to recognize you), watching the rain hit the ground and the people running across the streets.
at times like these, you also just want to curl up in bed and forget everything. your pain, loneliness and agony. you start feeling cold, it's just the chill of the room, emptiness seems to have swallow you whole.
then at times like these, you also want to slip in your boots, grab a red umbrella and head outside to jump on puddles. after kicking some puddles, you stand still, let your umbrella drop, spread your arms open and embrace the rain. then you start twirling in circles till you fall down on your butt. next, you lie down and watch the sky sprinkle their blessings on you. at this point, you dont care you're naked or not, you're one with the world. the world's one with you. (HAHAHA!)
at times like these, you should be at a graveyard with flowers in hand, standing right in front of an altar. you ask for forgiveness for you're moving on. yet your actions contrdict your words, you start to cry. you dont know what you're doing and you find yourself awake the next day (when the rain has cleared and it's bright morning), lying in the altar you so loved and worshipped.
at times like these, you close the curtains and slip into bed. you watch your loved one breathe softly against the pillow and trace his cheek. you tuck his/her hair behind the ear and then plant a kiss on the forehead. you watch him/her mumble something, give a little frown and back to that peaceful look again. you watch him/her sleep till sleep comes and takes you too.
and etcetc. cliche but hmmm, very visionary. (is there such a word?) err, photo-enhancing? ahh, visual. yes, that word.
a doll dressed in violet
ran around the alleys, clutched her chest in fear
glanced back and watched the darkness swallow the lane whole
bit her lip and stubbed her toe
(insert ending here)
dawn is breaking, the sky's a lovely shade of violet now.
