the little prince

"Whomever I touch, I send back to the earth from whence he came," the snake spoke again. "But you are innocent and true, and you come from a star..."

The little prince made no reply. "You move me to pity, you are so weak on this Earth made of granite," the snake said. "I can help you, some day, if you grow too homesick for your own planet. I can..."

"Oh! I understand you very well," said the little prince. "But why do you always speak in riddles?"

"I solve them all,"
said the snake. And they were both silent.
- the little prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery

ah, death and his riddles
(little imps, they call and they crawl);
serpents and their temptations.
the sinner knows no not of what it has done
pressed guilty and played dumb.

these weird contortions and sweet-smelling concortions
you're making me drunk.

work's a little boring at times, five cds and their songs never change. i watch the world go by in that tiny shop and what the world consists are people rushing, people passing by and more people walking in and out. it kinda summarizes life, dont you think so? they walk in, then they walk out. you meet and you touch, you communicate then in a blink of an eye, they're gone. would you remember their faces again if they pass you by? maybe, but there's a 95 percent chance you dont. you ask what's the other 5 percent for? (that's just a rough gauge anyhow) i'll give credit to those who've made an impression on me, i guess. actually, i have no idea what's the other 5 percent for. HA.

life has been dull but nonetheless, fast. i spend days in the shop and nights on the web. my mind has been blunt, it rewinds and replays a handful of thoughts for example: "what should i write for the next chapter", "how should i spend my pay", "i need to get thinner" and "is my in-charge angry at me".

i saw a primary school classmate pass by my shop the other day and oh boy, he's grown taller but still cute nevertheless. i almost called out to him then i thought i'm beyond recognition. LOL.

ah. this is rather funny, it just slipped in my mind a moment ago. i'm working in a shoe shop, and i see all kinds of feet. get it? all walks of life? AHAHAHA! i think it's rather funny. HAHAHA!
