"i've met someone just like you"
is that how it feels? with no strings attached? would it be better? (and while you're running, soar high and free; i'll be here bowing and worshipping, such committment bound by gum on knees to concrete ground.) it's not that i dont want to jump up and run, i've tried and these things, they stick to me like leeches, they're a mess on me and they're hard to wash. yes, at times i think the rest should all leave me so that i would see them just like i see you. i'll be more sensitive, less heartless and less selfish towards them. on a note, the distance might be too great, just like yours. you're beyond reach and they might just be like that too.
